This postcard series highlights the plants featured in the heart+land project at Robert Ney and Two Inlets at Bde Heḣaka - Omashkooz Zaaga’igaans Regional Park, alongside their plant names in the Ojibwe language. Part of the Minnesota Parks Artist-in-Residence Program (MnPAiR), the project organized by Lindsay Buck tells the story of the region through the lens of the plants that call it home.
Size: 4” x 6”, 22 portrait-orientated species postcards, 1 landscape-oriented key card; 23 postcards total. Also included are (2) postcards featuring the artwork of Arabella Howell (Pezihutazizi Oyate).
Material: Double-sided matte cover paper, 100 lb. weight
Features high-resolution photographs of pressed herbarium specimens. All herbarium specimens are harvested responsibly and hand pressed, mounted and identified, by artist Lindsay Buck.
Profits from postcard sales will be donated to Ojibwe language revitalization projects in Minnesota.
